Sermon Clips Pricing Guide: What Does It Cost?

Budgeting for church media tools can be overwhelming. You want to reach more people online, but you have to be good stewards of church resources. This guide breaks down exactly what Sermon Clips costs, what you get, and how it compares to the alternatives.

Free Guide: 10 Ways to Grow Your Church's Digital Reach

Practical strategies churches of every size are using to reach more people online, no budget required.

The True Cost of Video Editing

Before looking at AI software pricing, it's helpful to understand the traditional costs associated with creating high-quality social media clips for your church.

A freelance video editor who takes your Sunday livestream, watches it, picks the good moments, formats them vertically, adds captions and returns them to you bills per video or per hour, and the bill comes back every week. Ask for a real quote, then multiply it by 52 before you compare it with anything else. That annual number is the honest baseline for short-form clips.

Having a staff member or volunteer do it by hand in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut swaps the money for time: scrubbing the sermon, choosing moments, cropping to vertical, captioning and exporting, every week. That is time they could spend pastoring, planning, or creating other creative assets.

Sermon Clips Pricing Plans

We built Sermon Clips to put finished, captioned vertical clips within reach of churches of every size. There are three ways in: two free sermons, a Weekly Pass, and the Founding Pastor rate. The clips themselves are the same on all three.

LOCKED FOR LIFE

Founding Pastor

$23.99 /month

For churches that preach most Sundays. The rate never goes up while your subscription stays active.

  • Everything in the Weekly Pass
  • Clean clips with no end card
  • Locked at $23.99 a month for as long as you stay
  • Cancel anytime, no contract

Is Sermon Clips Worth It?

Do the math with your own numbers. At $23.99 a month, the Founding Pastor rate is $287.88 a year, about $5.54 for each Sunday. The Weekly Pass, if you clip every Sunday of the year, runs $519.48. Set either against your freelance quote multiplied by 52, or against the hours someone on your team spends on clips each week.

What you get for it is up to five finished clips per sermon, each one vertical, tracked on the speaker, captioned to the word and cleaned up for sound. We would rather send four good clips than five with a bad one, so a sermon can come back with fewer than five.

Which plan should I pick?

If you preach most Sundays, the Founding Pastor rate costs less over a year than the Weekly Pass and never goes up while you stay. Choose the Weekly Pass if you want to try it on real Sundays before committing to a month. Start with the two free sermons either way, since they need no card.
